After spending 3 days in London (you can see my photo diary here), our next stop was Paris. We arrived late afternoon and went straight to the hotel where we met my cousin and Aunty who arrived earlier that day from Dubai. We spent most of the rest of the holiday together 🙂 We all went out to dinner at a local cafe and then went back to the hotel to relax as we had a busy few days ahead.
On our first full day in Paris we did a tour of the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Seine River and Notre Dame. I’ve been to Paris before, however it was lovely to visit the amazing Parisian landmarks again. On our second day we went on a shopping trip to a village outlet which had designer labels at more affordable prices. I was lucky enough to pick up some Valentino boots (!!!), a Burberry scarf, a Marc Jacobs purse and Calvin Klein underwear. I will do a blog post with the Valentino boots soon. The village was a great choice as all of the shops are in one place with cafes for lunch. Having survived London without getting caught in the rain, on our way to the bus to drive back into Paris we got absolutely soaked, there was torrential rain and we had no choice but to run through it! By the time we got to the bus, half of our bags were wet and breaking but somehow everyone else seemed to be dry haha
I nicknamed our third day in Paris ‘Chanel Day’. I caught up with my friend Steph who is living in Paris for lunch and shopping. We went to Chanel 31 Rue Cambon to buy my Chanel Bag which was an incredible experience. You can watch my Chanel Unboxing and hear all about the incredible experience in my video in my blog post here. I’m so glad I got to share the unforgettable experience with Steph and my mum. Steph also showed us some Parisian treasures including the Monteparnese Tower which has an incredible 360 degree view of Paris. We watched the Eiffel Tower sparkle when the sun went down which was magical.
Paris is a beautiful city with so much culture and character. I loved catching up with family and friends and enjoying the amazing sites and of course the shopping 🙂 Have you been to Paris? What was your favourite thing to do/explore there? Or if you haven’t, what would you like to see?
I will post my photos from Greece next! Thanks for visiting my blog, Jacqui xxx
