Now that the cold is really starting to set in in Adelaide, I’ve had to resort to layering jackets! In winter I tend to find myself wearing dark clothing, particularly black jeans, dark jackets and overcoats. I’m trying to inject some colour into my winter wardrobe so I’ve started with this textured French Connection bomber. I really like the leafy embossed detail which I think looks cool paired with double denim for a casual vibe. The bomber is super comfortable and not too thick so it’s perfect for layering. You can wear it with the denim jacket on top, or another jacket, while you’re outside and then remove the outer jacket when you’re inside and not quite so cold. Bombers and denim jackets are perfect for casual winter outfits, you can pair them with jeans, skirts, even on top of dresses with heels or flats!
A big thank you to my beautiful friend Raneil from Sugar and Shoes for a fun day and the photos. You must check out her blog, she’s got some amazing fashion tips including cool DIYs.
To add some more colour into my winter wardrobe, I also recently bought a light pink aviator jacket (I bought it in black as well because I couldn’t help myself). So I’m excited to show you how I would style it when it arrives in the post. How do you inject colour into your winter wardrobe? Let me know if you have any tips!
Also, an update on life. I haven’t blogged in a little while as I’ve been really busy working on some exciting projects which I’m excited to share some more details about soon. I’ve also been doing quite a lot of personal, editorial and runway styling which is so much fun and really rewarding. If you’d like to know more about that click here.
Thanks for taking the time to visit, hope you’re having a great week! Jacqui xxx
