Favourite Places To Shop

I love fashion and consider it an art form and a way to express myself. I make sure I invest in pieces that I love now and will continue to wear for years to come (cost per wear!). I've always preferred quality over quantity and tend to go through my wardrobe each season and only keep things that I know I will wear in the future, the rest I donate to the Salvos or family/friends. I thought it would be valuable to compile a list of my favourite places to shop, both stores and online, for those that are interested. I have categorised the stores into: High-End, Affordable and purely Online so you can read the sections that most interest you.

Jacqui's Favourite Places to Shop...

High-End Stores

Dion Lee - https://www.dionlee.com/

Dion Lee is great for quality investment pieces such as dresses and leather skirts (see mine below). Dion Lee's designs focus on the detail and are therefore always elegant and fun. I have quite a few Dion Lee pieces, including a few new blazers, they have beautiful detailing to add interest to a simple outfit. I will show you the blazers in a blog post soon.

Lover the Label - http://loverthelabel.com/

Lover the Label has the most amazing Lace outfits for special occasions. More recently, they also have casual pieces such as the denim dress below. I wore a Lover the Label top and skirt seen below (which you join to make a dress) to my graduation. I will show you a better view of the dress (without my graduation gown on top) in another blog post soon!

Zimmermann - https://www.zimmermannwear.com/

Zimmermann is known for fun and eclectic pieces but personally my favourite thing about the brand is their lace pieces and bathers. You can see my Zimmermann bathers below which I'm excited to wear in Europe later this year!

Christian Louboutin - http://asia.christianlouboutin.com/sg_en/

Christian Louboutin has the most amazing heels with the famous red bottoms. I invested in a pair last year which I also wore to my graduation (seen below).

Affordable

Witchery - http://www.witchery.com.au/

Witchery is a great label for quality everyday and work clothing, however their prices are still affordable. They also have a great selection of bags and shoes.

Country Road - http://www.countryroad.com.au/

I would class Country Road as similar to Witchery, as they also have quality everyday and work clothing, they particularly have cosy knits! Both Witchery and Country Road also have Men's and Children's clothing.

Zara - http://www.zara.com/

Zara is a Spanish label which has retail stores in many countries around the world. What I like most about Zara is that every time I go into the store, they have different stock. To me, this means that there is less chance that you are going to see other people wearing the same clothes. However, the downside is that you have to decide on the day whether you want to purchase an item otherwise chances are that when you go again, it won't be there.

Unfortunately, you can't purchase Zara online in Australia, however the are easily accessible stores, such as Burnside in Adelaide.

Nike - http://www.nikestore.com.au/

Nike is my go to for gym gear and shoes. I particularly like wearing Nike to the gym as the clothing is durable, as I wash each piece after I wear it.

Sooki Boutique - http://sooki.com.au/

Sooki stocks really great Australian designers that are both quality and affordable. I tend to find beautiful dresses and tops from Sooki. I just recently bought the dress on the left which I will wear later this month for my cousins 21st birthday!

Tony Bianco - http://www.tonybianco.com.au/

If you've visited my blog before, you would know that I'm kind of obsessed with Tony Bianco shoes! They always look amazing and fit so well. Practically every heel in my collection is from Tony Bianco, and for good reason.

Online

Sabo Skirt - https://saboskirt.com/

Sabo Skirt is great for affordable, cool and colourful dresses and outfits. I really love the youthfulness of their label. Also always happy to support young Australian female entrepreneurs - Thessy and Yiota!

Showpo - http://www.showpo.com/

Showpo is another great online store for affordable and youthful dresses and outfits. Showpo always has a large amount of stock with new pieces added constantly, therefore every time you search there are new items.

Evan-Evina - http://www.evan-evina.com/

Evan-Evina is a great affordable online store for cheaper knock offs of high-end fashion trends. I find that Evan-Evina tends to have more unique and interesting pieces and also great sales (I have been known to buy pieces in a few different colours!).

Baby Anything - https://babyanything.com.au/

Baby Anything is one of my favourite jewellery labels, along with Tiffany & Co. I love Baby Anything jewellery as it is all handmade by designer Lucie Ferguson and each piece looks unique and beautiful!

Last but not least is Asos. Asos is like an online department store for all things fashion. You know that you will always find what you're looking for on Asos with their different labels, including more higher end and affordable options and also petite and maternity sizes.

This was quite a long blog post, thanks for reading til the end!! I hope it was helpful. If you have any other favourite labels or online stores, please share in the comments, I'm really interested in your fashion favourites! Thanks for visiting my blog and hope to see you again soon, Jacqui 🙂 xxx
