I’m so excited to finally share my new beginnings and first blog post on the new website with you!! I started Everyday Elegance by Jacqui almost 3 years ago and thought that it was time for an update. I’m proud of myself for creating this new website on my own, through plenty of late nights and weekend work, I’ve learned a lot and am happy with the result. While there are still things I would like to change, I know it will always be a continuous learning experience.

Earlier this year I wrote this blog post and set myself goals including: post more consistently, transfer my blog to WordPress, learn more about photography and become more proficient in Photoshop. I feel like I have made great progress in achieving all of these, although I will never stop learning and improving. I would really love and appreciate your feedback on the new look, leave me a comment below if you like.

The styling in this photoshoot has become my weekend uniform, I particularly love grey in the winter. I was drawn to this knit from Witchery (link to shop above) because of the belt detail. The material belt creates interest with the way I’ve crisscrossed it and provides shape. Also, a quick mention to this beautifully textured white brick wall. This wall is on the side of a house and definitely made for an awkward chat with the owner when he came home and saw me and my friend taking photos in his drive way haha. Thanks for visiting and looking forward to reading your feedback, Jacqui xxx

P.S. More exciting new beginnings to come!

Photos by my gorgeous friend Chantelle (find her Instagram here), edited by me.

It’s always difficult when you’re the one doing everything in your blog by yourself but I think it’s so rewarding to see the results! Your blog is really amazing, such a fresh design and beautiful photos. Love the outfit and your hair looks amazing 🙂
